Frequently Asked Questions
Can I run appliances while charging my generator (Elite)? An electrician said I should not. The manual says I can, but I was unsure if the manual was only referring to the USB ports and not major appliances.
It's completely safe to do so, but the only downside is that the generator will charge more slowly than expected.
Is there a conversion cable that can be used on a regular pod for the generator elite?
This is an accessory that converts a standard pod into an elite.
Can we plug an appliance into the power pod?
Unfortunately, the power pod does not have an inverter or any 120VAC outlets to support an appliance. The pod's main purpose is battery expansion.
I have an elite set with 4 panels and an earlier white set with 3 panels. How can I combine them at the same time?
Unfortunately, the Elite is not compatible with daisy-chaining with the standard system. However, you can make use of the standard pods as a battery expansion.
Can the Nature's Generator charge a Tesla?
Unfortunately, the generator currently cannot support EVs.
Is there a way to charge the pod (battery) with a generator? Like a gas generator? I have one of these, but during wintertimeit does not charge fully.
Apart from the solar input, you may also use the 12VDC outlet for charging.
Will it charge when hooked to a nature's generator, or is it only by the solar panel
The power pod will charge when hooked to Nature's generator or you can also charge it using the solar input of the power pod
